WHAT TO DO AFTER BUYING A NEW ANDROID SMARTPHONE?

OK this is the first question on the table, what to do after buying an android smartphone, well obviously the very first I want to tell you is congratulations on the choice of smartphone you bought. Now below are what to do

1. Unbox the android smartphone :

Unboxing is the very first thing to do after buying an android phone I mean if its brand new as expected its going to come with a box and in the box you have the phone and the accessories so take the phone and all the accessories out.

2. Charge the android smartphone :

just immediately after taking out the phone from the box what’s next is to charge the phone so you will enjoy the phone battery life. Mind you to charge your android smartphone use the normal general power supply not a generator power and not a power bank.

3. Upgrade the Android Smartphone Operating System :

Yes you need to update the OS of the android smartphone so it can operate smoothly and you won’t be left out of what the phone has to offer you.

4. LINK A GMAIL ACCOUNT :

adding your email to your new android phone is definitely going to require an internet service so if you have data in your sim which is in the phone then switch on your data connection if no, connect the new android phone to a wireless Hotspot network. To begin the use of your phone services like the playstore, Google Chrome browser and setting up security your phone is surely going to authorize you to sign in or register a Gmail account. Android users is guaranteed some goodies and benefits with an email account linked to your android smartphone.

5. Set A Password :

No android user show let this go this so important gadgets should be protected and secure so informations won’t be taken without the real owners permission, setting up security won’t just be about locking your phone but it’s more about not allowing your files to be accessed by anyone. To set a password on your android smartphone simply ;

• Go to settings

• TAP on security and then choose the type of security you want on your new android phone, we have ” Screen Lock security, Smart Lock security and the fingerprints security”. I advise to go set up both screen lock and fingerprints security.

6. Allow Installation From Unknown Sources :

your phone might tell you allowing installation from unknown sources might cause virus or hackers attacking your phone it was implemented by Google it’s certainly a good idea along the line you might want to receive applications from third parties and the app isn’t on playstore you then use xender to receive the app but with installation from unknown sources not activated one won’t be able to install the app you need to turn the unknown sources on to install the app. Here’s how to do it,

• Go to settings,

• Tap on security, scroll down

• Just beneath device administration, you will find ” Allow Installation from unknown sources” just turn it on.

7. Disable Auto-Update Of Apps :

This is the last but not least thing you have to do after all I have listed above, disabling auto-update of apps will save your data subcription and without authorized by you the user any app won’t install itself from playstore or whatever sources. Auto updates of apps occur when your phone finds and require update of it operating system then all apps begin to update itself though it’s not a bad idea of you have unlimited data subcription and also I understand by default apps auto update when there a WiFi connection. Ok do this ;

• Go to playstore, option menu,

• Tap on settings then the auto update option and select ” update over wifi connection ” or “ click on not auto update apps “.

SHOULD YOU FIRST CHARGE OR DRAIN BATTERY OF A NEWLY BOUGHT SMARTPHONE?

You should first full charge your new android phone even before using it, remember never use a new phone without charging it first and it has to be 100% battery full it prolongs the battery life.
